  1. July 4th Porch Parade

    June 30, 2020 - July 5, 2020 @ Hope Mills Community

In lieu of July 4th Celebration, we are asking members of the community both households and businesses to celebrate with us by parading in place and decorating your front porches. View the virtual map, www.townofhopemills.com/349/July-4th-Celebration, for the homes or businesses that are participating. Show off your patriotism with the best red, white and blue display; or salute our First Responders and Essential Workers as inspiration; or go wild with your own ideas! The purpose of decorating is to unleash your creativity and bring a smile to your friends and neighbors. Don’t have a porch? No problem! Feel free to decorate your lawn, the sidewalk, a window, or something else visible from the street or sidewalk. We welcome residential and businesses to participate. The Hope Mills Porch Parade provides community engagement, and still offers something exciting for our citizens to enjoy together while following Gov. Cooper social distancing guidelines.
