Town offices will be closed on Thursday, December 23, 2021, Friday, December 24, 2021 and Monday, December 27, 2021 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Additionally, Town Offices will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 in observance of New Year's Day.
Waste Management: Garbage & Recycling Collection - Waste Management will be operating during the week of Christmas on Monday, December 20, 2021 through Friday, December 24, 2021 with no expected delays in collection.
Town of Hope Mills - Yard Waste Collection: There are no expected delays for yard waste collection during the week of Christmas. Town offices will be closed on Monday, December 27, 2021 and Friday, December 31, 2021 during the week of New Year's causing a one-day delay in yard waste collection.
Lowering the Lake Level: The Town will be lowering the lake level on Monday, January 10, 2022 to approximately 101' ASL (above sea level) for a two-week period once that level is reached. This is done annually to enable maintenance actions by the Town and lakefront property owners.
