Registration will open April 1st for the Recreation Center Summer Camp HERE under the Youth Programs tab.
The Summer Camp at the Hope Mills Recreation Center provides a safe environment while giving each camper weeks filled with fun activities & experiences. Our own department instructors come to camp to teach kids a variety of skills & lead activities in the areas of music, art, theater/drama, karate, physical fitness & ahtletics. Partnerships with other agencies, such as 4-H, Fayetteville Woodpeckers, State Employees Credit Union, NC Wildlife Resource Commission & more, will bring educational, fascinating & interactive encounters week after week. Every Friday, weather permitting, campers will have a Water Day with an inflatable water-slide sponsored by the Hope Mills Stormwater Department. A tentative schedule will be sent for each week of camp so campers & families will have an idea of what to expect. Through the end of July, lunches are provided at no additional cost by the Cumberland County Schools free summer lunch program. Campers may opt to bring a cold packed lunch. All campers must bring at least 2 extra snacks per day & a water bottle.
