Welcome to the Hope Mills Fire Department’s web pages. I believe you will find this website a valuable resource to residents and visitors of Hope Mills. We are fortunate to employ some of the most talented individuals in the fire service today. The fire department has a long and proud history of service to the citizens of Hope Mills and surrounding communities. The department has risen to meet the ever changing demands of our community and to provide quality customer service.

Over the years, the responsibilities of the fire department has grown from just “fighting fires” and in today’s fire service we deliver a wider range of services. Our dedicated and professional staff is trained and proficient in a variety of emergency service related fields.

The Town of Hope Mills currently enjoys a class 2 ISO / DOI insurance rating which saves property and business owners money on their insurance premiums. This could not have been accomplished if it were not for the hard work of fire department personnel.

The fire department is focused on meeting the emergency response needs of the community and we are as diverse as the town we serve. I have watched department personnel perform heroic deeds and monumental acts of kindness & compassion without the expectation of anything in return, “Just doing my job” is their routine response. I am proud to serve with such high caliber individuals and honored to lead them.
