The Hope Mills Fire Department has been providing emergency services to the Town of Hope Mills since 1945. We are designated as a municipal fire department and a governmental entity of the town. Our primary response district is the corporate limits of the town which encompasses an approximately eight square mile area, however through automatic and mutual aid contracts, the department responds to incidents county wide to include Fayetteville, Spring Lake, Fort Bragg and Pope AAF. Due to our geographic location, we also respond to calls in both Hoke and Robeson Counties.
The fire department is professionally staffed by both career and volunteer personnel; we provide a variety of traditional and nontraditional services. Although we are proud of our history, we continue to strive to meet the demands and expectations of the future. We work closely with town administration and other departments to build a team that focuses on the quality of life for our citizens.
Our mission is to provide the citizens of Hope Mills and the surrounding community with prompt, quality emergency services that is delivered in a courteous, efficient and effective manner.
