What Do We Offer: The Town of Hope Mills in conjunction with the ALMS House Hope Mills is a proud partner of Fayetteville/Cumberland County Continuum of Care on Homelessness and their mission to eradicate homelessness. As part of our partnership with CoC, the ALMS House is an access point to a wealth of resources offered by the Continuum of Care program and through the help if their 96+ affiliates.
What is the ALMS House: The ALMS House Hope Mills (Associated Local Ministries in Service Helping Others in Unfortunate Situations and Experiences) is a nonprofit that was established in the 1984 by local ministries dedicated to giving back and providing those less fortunate in our community. The ALMS House provides Hope Mills homeless population with daily feedings as well as access to a food pantry, clothing closet, household & sanitary items, financial assistance and Kids Assistance Programs.
What is Fayetteville/Cumberland County Continuum of Care on Homelessness: Fayetteville/Cumberland County Continuum of Care on Homelessness, or CoC, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is a facilitator of service providers throughout the geographic area of Cumberland County, North Carolina. Continuum of Care has over 96 nonprofits, businesses, advocates, faith-based, health care, educational, and local government entities that work towards the CoC;s mission of making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
How to Help Someone in Need: Call Coordinated Entry, 844-401-HOPE (4673), to be connected with someone that will be able to refer a homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless individual to agencies with services that fit their specific needs and circumstances.
